Mansfield bulk trash pickup

When

Trash and recycling out by 7 a.m. on collection days (trash twice weekly; recycle weekly). Paid bulky-brush only on the scheduled day Frontier confirms — don’t set out early.

Where

Recycle cart at the curb with lid opening facing the street, accessible from the street (not behind mailbox, car, or other obstruction). Frontier guidance: about 4 ft from mailboxes, cars, other carts, fire hydrants; wheels/handle toward the house; avoid low wires. Bulk/brush piles at the curb on the correct day.

Limits

Trash ≤10 bags or four cans/carts per collection; each bag/can ≤35 lb. Regular-day bundled brush/bulky about ≤1 cubic yard per city Trash Collection page (overages need paid Frontier bulky brush). Frontier contractor page also states a 2 cu yd bulk figure with trash — follow the city 1 cu yd threshold for free regular-day piles until the city reconciles wording.

Brush

Regular day: brush/limbs/yard debris tied in bundles ≤4 ft, ~≤50 lb, total ≤~1 cu yd. Bulky brush (paid): cut to 6-ft lengths, not bundled, not on regular garbage days. Loose brush isn’t acceptable for regular pickup.

Not allowed

Construction debris, loose brush, hazardous chemicals, paint, and other ordinance-listed unacceptable waste. Frontier also lists medical waste, rocks/dirt/concrete, dimensional lumber, and limbs larger than 6 in diameter / 49 in length among unacceptable items. Freon appliances need a certified removal tag before curb.

Bags

Trash bagged (or in resident cans ≤35 lb). Recyclables loose in the blue cart — don’t bag them. Bagged green waste called out on Frontier bulk list for regular bulk/brush framing.
