Out by 7 a.m. Items generally ≤50 lb (Republic municipality page). Special or off-cycle pickup: 972-422-2341 or rowlettbulkquotes@republicservices.com. Residents can use CM Hinton Landfill twice per calendar year with a city Landfill Pass.

Schedule
Bulk pickup is automatic in Rowlett — no city request needed.
Set-out checklist
City rules before collection day. Confirm with the city if anything looks off.
When
Brush and bulk out by 7 a.m. on your regular solid-waste day. Carts need to be positioned for the automated arm on collection day.
Where
Trash and recycle carts with enough street or alley space for the automated arm — spacing matters. Brush and bulk between curb and sidewalk in front of the house, not in alleys. Don’t block water meters, hydrants, alleys, sidewalks, driveways, or roadways.
Limits
Brush/bulk up to 2 cubic yards per week included. Extra volume billed per cubic yard ($12.60 on the main trash page / Republic; $12.00 also shows on the brush page — confirm with Republic). Extra trash bags outside the cart need Pink Tags. Items generally ≤50 lb per the Republic Rowlett page.
Brush
Brush means plant material and yard waste — not loose soil, sod, food waste, plastics/synthetic fibers, or lumber. Stack it neatly. Fencing in 4×6 ft sections. Contractor/landscaper waste is the contractor’s job by ordinance.
Not allowed
Bulk/brush won’t take dirt, rock, concrete; auto parts, tires, batteries; liquids (paint, motor oil, solvents); or HHW (herbicides, pesticides, fertilizers, pool chemicals — use the Home Chemical Collection Center). Refrigerators and freezers are listed separately from other major appliances on the acceptable list — check the city PDF for Freon rules. Construction debris from contractors isn’t accepted as residential bulk.
Bags
All trash and recycling must fit in the cart with the lid closed. Extra bags need Pink Tags ($2 + tax).
Fees and fines
Fetched service pages don’t list set-out citation dollar amounts. Pink Tags are $2 + tax for extra bags. Extra brush/bulk beyond 2 cu yd is billed per cubic yard.
